Apollodorus of Damascus, a illustrious Greek designer, flourished in a period of the 2nd century. He was the favorite of Trajan, for whom he constructed Trajan's Bridge over the Danube (104). He as well planned the gymnasium, a college, public baths, & a Forum Trajanum.
